The Role

In this position, you will be responsible for designing secure, scalable, and robust cloud platforms while providing essential technical leadership to cross-functional delivery teams. You will oversee complex migration roadmaps and ensure that all implementations strictly adhere to rigorous technical governance and security standards, applying the AWS Well-Architected Framework to optimise performance and cost. Day-to-day, you will act as a key advisor to stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into modern, cloud-native solutions that drive operational excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive experience in AWS cloud architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Proven proficiency in applying the AWS Well-Architected Framework to production workloads.
  • Demonstrable ability to design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and landing zones.
  • A track record of leading large-scale cloud migration and modernisation programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • The ability to provide clear technical leadership to cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and advisory skills, with the confidence to influence senior leadership.
  • Practical experience with cloud-native security solutions and operational best practices.
