Performance Test Engineer/Specialist who is well versed with performance testing large scale, high profile projects to work for DWP, based in London. As a Performance Test Engineer/Specialist your primary focus would be designing, implementing and running performance tests using the Gatling performance test tool. You will also be helping to drive the performance testing strategy within the project. You will be working alongside other performance testers within a performance testing, multi-disciplinary team and will have excellent communication skills and be confident working with developers, BAs and POs to ensure timely delivery. Please note that the client has determined that the off-payroll working rules will not apply to this assignment To be considered for this role you will have significant and demonstrable experience of the following: - Drafting Test Performance Strategy across Agile methodology - Used some or all of the following Agile practices: - Continuous Integration - SCRUM - Kanban - Test Driven Development - Behaviour Driven Development - Gatling - Performance testing in the following areas: - Front end HTTP requests - Batch operations - Data migrations - Message brokers - External third party integrations - Usage of an Application Performance Monitoring tool such as: - New Relic - Dynatrace - AppDynamics - BMC Experience in the following areas would also be desirable: - JMeter - Jenkins - Cucumber Framework - API Testing - GIT or Subversion - Java - JIRA - Gradle - Buck - AWS (Amazon Web Services) - IntelliJ - Splunk - Graphite - Grafana - Zabbix - Working on a project with a micro-service architecture
