Job Description
I’m currently recruiting for a Service Analyst with Investment / Asset Management Experience working on design projects
This role is to be based in London on a 6 month contract with the possibility of extensions. Rates of between £400 - £500/day dependant on experience.

Principal Accountabilities:
Strategy
• Understand the Infrastructure strategy and support the team leadership in the execution of the strategy
• Support the IT Service Management approach to supplier Governance
• Support the assessment of third-party services capability and deliverables
• Maintain awareness of ITIL framework and in line with preferred partners implement as required
Key Tasks and Accountabilities
• Responsible for producing quality, secure and resilient designs for new or improved services. A particular area is the identification and recording of Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).
• Act as a gateway through which project teams engage in addition to being responsible for gathering service requirements, designing support models and defining Service Acceptance Criteria to enable transition of services.
• Defining and documenting non-functional requirements.
• Responsible for the management and maintenance of the Service Portfolio (pipeline).
• Liaising with the wider team and key project management stakeholders to ensure that the pipeline of projects is accurate, creating appropriate reports
• Responsible for ensuring that value for money is obtained from all suppliers
• Works with the team manager to ensure IT Services are delivered according to contractual needs
• Track and report Supplier quality and productivity gains
Academic Qualifications
• Graduate calibre, although degree not essential
Technical and Professional Qualifications
• ITIL certified practitioner is desirable, demonstrable experience of delivering utilising the ITIL framework is mandatory
• Demonstrated history of learning, particularly in the IT Infrastructure environment e.g. conferences or specific training courses relating to IT Infrastructure
Experience and Background
• Minimum 5 years' experience of service design in a multi sourced environment
• Demonstrable exposure to 24*7 / Global / Highly Available operations
Competence and Characteristics
• Sound planning & organisation skills. Target and customer focused, proactive, analytical and a Strong operational service delivery & staff leadership experience
• Excellent communication skills must have strong problem solving abilities, a technical mindset and the desire and determination to continually drive change and improvement
• Ability to problem solve, think creatively and adapt quickly to a new and developing type of service delivery
Specialist Knowledge & Skills
• Good knowledge of Infrastructure and IT Operations for an Institutional Fund Management company
